well i've just started playing runescape on the net what a brilliant game the amount of things you can do is well thought of i will spend some time playing it and i might even eventually pay for the extras on it:disturbd:

Any further opinions on this? I might get it for the 360 on Friday when it comes out.

I used to play that starship tactical combat simulator hex and counter game with my mates many years ago. If it's anything like that sort of concept I might be interested.

Just been playing it, graphics are not what they would lead you to believe, they're far from stunning and the models are nowhere near as good as canon.

Also the control system sucks and i appear to get stuck when attempting to do a roll the ship will only turn so far.

this is the pc version tho not the xbox to which i wish they'd release a demo of it on live so that we could see if the controls were any better

Yes I find myself quite dissapointed :(

Although I do hear that the pc mod community are working frantically to update the models on the pc version.

Yea it's really good, the first hour or slow is pretty slow but it's getting really cool now, pretty fast paced yet seems like theres loads more to do which is great.

I got rome total war on newyears eve, took me ages to connect to a game online, I don't think much of it to be honest, I keep going back to red alert 2

Since the poor old 360 has gone to the knackers yard, been playing BF1942.

Set up a dedicated server on the laptop and been playing co-op with the 2 PCs in the house and next door neighbour logged in with theirs over my wlan (the benefits of paper thin walls in modern houses) :D great laugh even if the AI is woeful.

The Kobayashi Maru sounds like an interesting mod, but its based in the TNG era, so not a true respresntation of the imposible Kobayashi Maru test from TOS then.

We do include the Connie but the mod is based within the TNG,VOY, and DS9Era.

Believe me it is something of which is heavily discussed but we have agreed their would be a huge balancing issue adding TOS era ships.

KM 1.0 will be out in Feb we hope, sporting amazing new bridge sets, with custom sounds, a brand new Voyager model with animated nacelles, and Defiant model, a new Sovereign class model and Galaxy Class, aswell as new tactical options and more stable online gameplay.

World Of Wacraft.... I said i'd never give in and play it, but i'm on one of the 10 day trial things... Seems pretty good after only 5 hours of playing. I don't know if i'd willingly pay to play though. Seems like a huge version of runescape to me so far.

Not really complicated at all though, it's really easy... But way too addictive, the reson i'm still awake now... The only way i see me ending this is by NOT buying it for a month. Which in all honesty i think i might just to see if it really does keep this level of fun up :)

I picked a copy up from Gamestation earlier and damn fine it looks too although my poor old PC is starting to creak at the seams! probably be weekend before I get into it properly as there seems a lot to take in.

I bought it...

Level 11 now, enjoying the fun of quests in Westfall. Accidentally got 2 friends back into it though, and one that's completely new to PC gaming as a whole (Who is now Level 10 in just 2 days...)

It's fun! And cost £14.99 from woolworths (the only place that seems to sell the original without asking the earth...)

Didn't check online as i wanted it there and then, but that goes to show it's pretty good to shop around. Also, GAME tell me they're not stocking the original any more... Which is odd as it's needed in order to use the Expansion they are pushing so hard.

Rainbow Six Vegas PCDVD, single player is cool, multiplayer is ok. The MOCAP (motion capture) is excellent, i hope more future games have this technology as standard.

Just installed and will be playing Metal Gear Solid 1, IMHO one of the best games ever made :D this time around though I'll be playing the PC version as opposed to the PS1, for those that remember the game, you could complete the games several times to get different bonus items :tu: I even started playing on the hard or was it extreme level with no radar, got up to the second meeting with Vulcan Raven, you know, the one in the room with all those pillars, nightmare, anywho, I tried and tried but he beat me :(
