This is a promo link to a 6 month trial. I just had to open it in edge to get it to recognise my input. Signed into Central and switched users on my account with 60 days left and it switched to the 180 :) |

alanbjames, you should use this rather than pay good money when you get the same thing for free. |

Re: Bitdefender Total Security
Well i uninstalled Kaspersky and installed Bit Defender upon this recommendation.
Now if We try and access our Gaydar account on gaydar.net Bit Defender throws up a false positive so i cant win there. Gonna try 3rd option of Nod32. |

just for educational purposes I went to that website and BD did not complain. Could you have helper objects or something else that could be triggering it |

As I have said before though something is not right with Coreys set up as it is doing strange things it should not be doing. IE flagging his gardar site and now possibly this If my system was behaving this way and I had no answer as to why I would be doing a clean install just in case at the very least I would scan with BD Malwarebytes and possibly even esets online scanner. |
Re: Bitdefender Total Security
If you're sure you don't want it scanned try opening Bitdefender go to Protection -> Settings.
From there you have options for Scan CD & DVD / Scan flash drives / Scan mapped network dives. I assume it will be one of these. For each of these you can select Autoscan, Ask every time or Disabled. (This is for Bitdefender Antivirus Plus) |
