The Grand National trial at Haydock is best ignored imo, none of the winners ever do anything on the big day, that said it is an incredibly hard race for the horses and one of the only genuine trial events worthy of the name

Yes you are quite right TD as when l was younger the amount of what l call mug punters who did not seem to have a lot of skill in reading the form of races were substantial and that includes some punters with plenty of money.
l suspect that sentiment still applies even though many punters bet online or on their mobiles nowadays. Yeah NRNB is a useful tool nowadays for the punter. |
