Hub 3 turn wi-fi off

I do not require Wi-Fi on my Hub 3, I have disabled it but it keeps on re enabling.

Is there any way I can permanently disable it?

It's off completely in modem mode.

It is used in router mode only..

So are you switching the wifi off - or are you switching to router mode?

Wi-Fi is switched off, it will stay off for a number of hours, then it is re enabled.

Then the whole process is repeated.

It is being turned on deliberately by VM to work around a fault where the WiFi goes off in error on some modems. I'm afraid you'll have to put up with it until the underlying fault is fixed.

I assume that is area specific ? mines stays off thankfully :)

I use router mode as it saves me having to add a switch. Hub 3 (router mode) hard wired to TP Link Mesh system, TV, MainPC and Mut@nt HD1. Mesh system takes care of my WiFi>

Reason I post this is why modem mode may not be suitable

Not that I know of. I'm sure there's a good explanation but I don't know what it is.
