Christmas TV Schedule
Not gonna link here as not sure if allowed but Radio Times are doing their 12 issues for £1 and there is time to include the Christmas Edition. It is on HUKD easy to find
Also I guess this thread can be used later to discuss what is going to be on over the festive season |
Re: Christmas TV Schedule
Nothing in Digiguide yet, which is all I use.

Re: Christmas TV Schedule
Old Boy posted this link under virgin media so thought I would add it here
https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2021...ear-broadcast/ Some of ITVs offerings ---------- Post added at 16:29 ---------- Previous post was at 16:25 ---------- Must admit from what I have seen in the mags there is not much. Normal stuff like Mrs Browns Boys Call the Midwife Doctor Who (New Year) and so on https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/christmas-tv-2021/ I am looking forward to the Around The World in 80 Days movie with David Tennant though and Sky have Last Train to Christmas in that link that might be funny ---------- Post added at 16:30 ---------- Previous post was at 16:29 ---------- another link here. I am sure the TV Pages will be out soon https://www.whattowatch.com/features...this-christmas |
Re: Christmas TV Schedule
There are a couple of things our household will watch but overall its pretty uninspiring.

Re: Christmas TV Schedule
Just Christmas versions of the usual drivel that's on the rest of the year.

Re: Christmas TV Schedule
The BBC ruined Christmas when they removed Dr Who from the schedule ….

There is nothing stopping someone trying to make specials like they used to but I guess with 200 channels to fill having decent specials on 1 and 3 is not important anymore |
Re: Christmas TV Schedule
I certainly don’t miss Val Doonican and his pullovers!

Re: Christmas TV Schedule
Looks terrible TBH.
We'll probably have Top of the Pops on in the background. Probably then switch to the countdown of favourite ABBA songs on C5 (in the background again). Other than that, I'll be watching the shows I've built up over the last few weeks. Around the world in 80 days (new) looks interesting, on Boxing Day. |
Re: Christmas TV Schedule
It gets predictably worse every year

I can't believe it's not Christmas again!!

Re: Christmas TV Schedule
It’ll only get worse. The content on the TV channels has been dire this year and Christmas isn’t much better.
Hundreds of channels and nothing on. |

If you took all the 'good' content and condensed it onto about 15 channels, you'd get decent quality viewing . . . but that won't happen because it's the adverts that drive the TV market :p: |
