Re: Amazing Astronomy Site
I had forgotten about Cobby's link to this site. It was one of links I lost, along with a lot of other interesting sites, when a hard drive unexpectedly went to hardware heaven over 10 years ago.
For once Dude's delving into ancient threads has provided me with something interesting. :D |

Re: Amazing Astronomy Site
To be fair, Carl Sagan was invoked earlier in the thread. His moral philosophy arises from contemplating Earth from afar and concluding that we need to do our best for one another because Earth is alone and there’s nobody coming to our aid. Plenty of religiously-minded people have contemplated the beauty of the created universe and found it a source of faith and encouragement. It would be churlish to let Sagan’s comments stand unchallenged whilst being dismissive of others. ;)
