Youtube playback issue

Im just wondering if anyone else is having issues with youtube playback?

Its not every video but on some im getting stuttering and buffering so bad the video is unwatchable. I like watching documentries on youtube so i would like to see if i can sort this issue.

The issue doesnt affect Netflix, Britbox or Amazon Prime.

Re: Youtube playback issue

What device are you watching on?
Have you tried resetting it?
Have you tried a different device?
Can you give us an example of a video that does it, and one that doesn't? Or does it happen intermittently even if you keep watching the same video?

It's likely that the video actually comes from a CDN rather than youtube.com

Re: Youtube playback issue

I've had occasions where I've needed to alter the resolution settings from Auto down to the lowest setting for decent playback on some videos.

That video was unwatchable last night due to stuttering but i watched it during early hours around 4am and it was fine.

Ok, that's only 480p resolution, so should be no trouble at all. It plays fine for me on PC and V6 box.

Have you tried rebooting your SuperHub? Do you have any VM TV boxes you could try this video on?
