No FreeSat signal
 

Okay...title says it all, but a bit of a back ground story.

I did have standard Sky till about a year back where I had been using the hardware which was left from previous owners. What they had done (a bit of assumption), to have two rooms was feed dish to sitting room sky box then a cable from box to bedroom....the assumption was they had used the sky box output (????) and fed it upstairs to a second box (their own multi room). My own set up of just living room worked....Sky subscribed.

A friend was at mine recently with a sky box he was to give to his outlaws (he has no dish). He used my sky cable to check this was all good...which it was and only 3 weeks back (after a year not knowing)

Today I got a cheap Grundig Freesat box but I'm getting no signal. How could this be? Do Freesat dishes point the same way as Sky? any help always appreciated.

Worked with Sky box but not Freesat??????
