Finally, one of the investigations/prosecutions comes to a conclusion!

Bet they never actually get him over not actually paying any taxes at all as no one seems to be able to look at his actual tax returns.;)

Although the fine is small this verdict could have serious ramifications going forward, the most serious of consequences in fact

His tax returns were handed over recently by the irs iirc

His tax returns were handed over recently by the irs iirc
I suspect anything that Trump hands over.He's lasted this long without serving jail time.

I also expect that any tax evasion issues will be claimed to be other people's failings or ineptitude and nothing to do with Mr Trump.

The man is teflon coated.

He isn't telfon-coated, things stick to him, he just has insanely loyal supporters. The man literally calls to suspend the constitution of the United States and his MAGA followers cheer him on, they value him above their own country. Him not paying his taxes won't matter.

He might use his oft used trick of denying any knowledge of (in this case) his own company but usually a close associate or friend up the creek who he needs to distance himself from.

I predict nothing will actually happen except lawyers making lots of money. If you're rich you can escape justice, poor and black, then tough luck. Crazy country.

Sadly, the USA is still a very racist country. Money counts there , but so does the colour of your skin.

Superficially it may appear so and years ago I might have agreed but the number of black men being killed by black police officers kind of contradicts that, the more attention I pay the more it seems to me that if you are poor, without opportunities or indeed hope the more likely you are to run into police that are institutionally violent because of the streets they patrol and the outcome is tragically obvious, there is no easy solution and imo it can't be dismissed just by saying they're racist, it's more complicated than that but where I would agree is that money counts more than anything, more than the colour of skin even
