Bitdefender Exemptions list
I'm a bit old school and still use Screensavers and decided to add a few old ones from windows 95/98 days to the PC.
Now they all worked apart from Starfield. When adding it my Antivirus goes nuts and cleans it. I've added it to the exclusion list and still it does the same. Anyone have any ideas what I can do? Thanks. |
Re: Bitdefender Exemptions list
BitDefender has a component called Advanced Threat Defense that checks behaviours beyond that of the normal AV. The Theory behind it is to stop threats that have not already been added to the AV. It could well be that.

This seems to have worked but if i was to re enable it would it once again delete the screen saver?

Re: Bitdefender Exemptions list
Yes when it runs. It thinks how it works is suspect. You can add exemptions in the settings of the function. Just make sure all 3 options are set
