Hotspots

Does anyone find these of any use, I have a game on my iPhone that will only connect to wifi, and for some strange reason it will not connect using data, I have other games which all connect to data with no problems, so I thought that I could use hotspots to connect the game that doesn't connect to data, and although there seems to be quite a lot of these so-called hotspots when I'm out and about I can never seem to get connected to any of them, I understand that you need to be pretty close but it seems to be pretty useless.

You're lucky, it doesn't connect to data on my iPhone 14 pro, which seems ridiculous as every other game I have does connect to data, so I'm assuming it's a fault with the game and not my phone.
