ACCLAIM - drop's the Cube
Just seen on the Computer & Video Game site that Acclaim will not be releasing anymore games on the cube.
|
It a bit of an Arse esp. now Burnout 3 if it ever developed won't be coming out for us grrrrr. But I shan't fook off to PoS2 or Crapbox either cos I wanna play all the other games that are definitely coming out :)

Ooops:eek: Thanks for putting in the link, Andre.
Cheers M8;) |
The gamecube has a soul compared to the other systems.
(can consoles have souls?) It has something tangible where as the other consoles seem to be a bit empty inside. But the other 2 have peripheral games of good quality and magnitude which make up for this. This is something the cube will never have. The 64 never had. The SNES and NES did have this fantastic 3rd party support and this was why they were winners. Anyway FOOK acclaim. They are shite. check it - http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php...02-10-18&res=l |
i told you all a long time ago cubes going down but you all wont listen...................

lol surely kronass need a bit more makeup in that avatar :p
Acclaim are roobish....I only got 2 games from them burnout 2 and crazy taxi and that's it. Gamecube is a Gaming Console thru and thru.... and u can feel it is. With the other two it just commercialised crap. |
The ganecube was doomed form the start, not too sure exactly why, but Nintendo havent managed to realise that the success of Donkey Kong wouldnt carry the company any further.
As someone that works in the games industry I think it is a shame, but also predictable. No one can compete with the PS2 even the development of games on the Xbox is starting to suffer hopefully in favour of having more titles at launch of the xbox2. Nintendo and Microsoft both need to look at the way Sony markets its dev kits and the support they give to games developers. |
i think the market due for a shakeup in the near future. Whether Nintendo survives or not remains to be seen, I hope they do, they must realise that more games does indeed equal more sales. I don't think ultra violent games the way to increase sales, society violent enough as it is.
anyways back to my cup of bovril and plate of yummy lasagne. |

I could never understand why it is that Playstation attracts such 'hard-core' loyalty - Sony are innit for the dosh, just like all the other's. People who have such a blinkerd view of video games are missing out big time on other great titles on other formats. Shame really.:( |
