Been playing the hell out of Spiderman on PS4. Such an amazing game. About 60% complete on story mode now.

Also playing through Uncharted 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Got the Platinum finally i have never bothered with trophies before but it is such an awesome game, now i will venture into its DLC unless i get bored.

I've been buying most of my games secondhand and they have been fairly cheap. Picked up Spiderman for £25 and Uncharted was £10. Got Killzone for £3.

Got a few cheap digital games recently too. Burnout Paradise remastered for £8 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 for £6.

I got Horizon complete for £9 and most top games I bought last year on USA Indonesian site cost less than 15 each, deals not so good this year yet.

Just finished Horizon Dawn and it's DLC, 100% on the game and one of the most enjoyable games I have played, all for £9 digital download!

I'm trying so hard to play Red Dead 2 but, oh my god it id so slow and boring and i keep falling asleep, atleast i didn't buy it as it was part of my PS4 Pro Bundle.

In comparison the last 2 games i have played are God of War and Horizon Dawn and i couldn't put the controller down!

I'm the same with RDR2. Started playing and it is so slow and takes a long time to get anywhere. I am going to stick with it as I think once the first bits are done it will get better and more to do.

Where as Spiderman I couldn't stop playing. Finally completed the story and it was amazing. 81% complete and going for the full 100%.

Will then start on the 3 DLC chapters.

Tried RDR2 again this evening, killed my first deer and robbed the train and I didn't fall asleep! Will try and stick with it.

Yeah I loved God of War on the previous consoles. So will likely pick it up.

Yes both those games are awesome, highly recommend them so look out for some deals later this year, I think I got them both digitally for less than £30.

Currently loving Shadow of the Tomb Raider on PS4 digital download from PSN US $24 i love how you can get digital so much cheaper than discs often and i now prefer digital as i don't find enough resale value on discs by the time i have finished them so digital is the way to go as long as i have enough storage space.

I keep going back to GTA V and playing the odd game I'm sure there is a mass of stuff still to do, between the stars and epic fantasy battle 4 are the newest ones I play. These are all pc games as I only have a PS3 and I don't really play it. I've got about 200 steam games not inc all the other companies that make games.

Is that because you like seeing them on a shelf rather than selling them after you have finished?

My reasons are I hate swapping discs as it's a hassle and if digital is cheaper sometimes then that wins everytime for me.

The latest Call of Duty:Modern Warfare Beta (FalkenHD) - Nvidia sent me an invite to take part in the Beta (just downloading it now - 45GB).

One of the few times I wish I hadn't downgraded from 200Mb/s.

I may be gone for some time... :)

That's a whopper and even with 200Mb/s that would take a fair old time to download. There will be a lot of new SSDs being shifted when it goes RTM I'm sure.

I've found myself at a difficulty spike on that. I think I'm like 32 but all the enemies seem to be a lot higher in level right now.

You probably have to do lots of side missions and get your legendary gear as you generally can't beat an enemy that is a higher level easily, i think i am on level 67.

I don't struggle killing the bad guys when i am geared up although some of those animal missions are hard so i should look into going back and doing those now i have a strong character.

Far Cry New Dawn, it takes place 17 years after Far Cry 5.


I have just installed Xbox streaming on my phone/tablet (Android only). then Xbox insider Hub on my X1 ran the setup on the phone and now I'm streaming my xbox to my phone.

I can't play Far Cry as there are no options to turn off that nasty 'motion blur' that alot of games use and within 20mins i feel like throwing up.

Finally finish AC Odyssey and got the Platinum, play time was 226hrs if anyone has still not played it and are thinking of giving it a go then it is currently on offer on the US store for $14.99(£11.57ish)

Are you going for the platinum, i found that so difficult as there was no option other than use a guide and play through the same parts multiple times to get the desired outcome?

Not at the moment. Just trying to complete the game story. Not too fussed about completing games 100%. Although I am getting close on Spiderman. Still need to get back into Horizon.

Enjoying Pokémon Sword too much though.

I never used to bother about getting all trophies but since playing Assassins Creed Origins/Odyssey and Spiderman i seem to have gotten the bug in doing that!

BTW there is an awesome free theme for Ghosts of Tsushima check it out while the code still works.

I actually got it for $4.99 on the US site but the price has gone up to $20.

I recommend looking daily/weekly at hotukdeals as all these deals get posted in a thread and also check PSprices as to not miss them.

I need to remember to purchase Doom as that is currently £4.99 until 17/01.

Currently playing Day of the Tentacle Remastered on PS4, love the game that i last played over 25 years ago, it is making my braincell hurt though trying to complete it without any help from the interwebs!!!

Typical, almost finished RDR2 and we FINALLY get a fast travel option when you set up camp in the wilds. Fast travel back to camp from anywhere! Woo hoo!

Strangely i find it impossible to play RDR2 without falling a sleep so after several attempts over the last year i have decided this game is not for me.

I'm trying to play the Witcher 3 that i bought mega cheap on the play store the only problem is i have to play on the hardest level to get the platinum so i don't think i will succeed this time!

It came out in 1993, it is worth playing the remastered version for a chilled out game, i think it was free on PS Plus a few years ago.
My cousin comes over sometimes to play that one as its a very good game which my brother bought for me when it was in the sale a fair while back.

I have got the Platinum bug so if I really enjoy a game and it's not ridiculously difficult to go for that I will try for it.

One of the reasons I spend longer on a game is I only buy digital now when they're really cheap often less than £10 or £15 either from the UK,US or Indonesian play stores this gives me far more satisfaction and value I will never throw £40-£50 on a game again. I recently re bought Black Flag and Unity mega cheap and have previously played when I used to have an Xbox.

Do you have a PS4 if so add me?

Ahhh right. That is a good plan like. I can never get platinums, I think I only ever got one. I don't have my PS4 now, I sold it to my brother cause I never used it.

The reason I went to a PS4 was my partner's son has one, but to be honest I can't see myself going back to Xbox anytime soon as I am deep in the PlayStation echo system now and there are far more first party games that I want to play and can't think of any on the Xbox.

Are you going to buy the XSX? I will likely get the PS5 even though the XSX is a little more powerful, but I am interested to see if the IO and double the SSD speed makes a difference compared to the XSX?

At the end of the day both next gen consoles will be awesome!

When I was playing games like that I would spend hours and hours at a time on it, but that was when I didn't have any responsibilities like bills etc, that was for mum and dad!
Only playing it for a couple of hours a couple of times a week now but l have worked out what does work and what does not work.:)

Indeed bills always first thing on the list along with food on the table.

I'll probs stick with Xbox as my main. I would like to get a PS5 too though. I wish I kept my PS4 though because there is some games I'd of liked to play.

You could buy up cheap digital PS4 games when you see them and play on the PS5, as there can be some super digital bargains out there and it is easy to purchase on alternative country playstores.

So I decided to get an Xbox again after a break of about 3 years so now I'm flipping between GTV, CODs Advanced warfare, Infinite Warfare and Ghosts, Assassins Creed Syndicate, Forzar 4 and Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Got my first platinum trophy the other day from Duke Nukem 3D 20th anniversary edition.

Also just completed Darksiders 3, doubt I'll get platinum for that. It's so hard in places.

Also playing a lot of COD Warzone.

Well done, you may get the Trophy bug now like i did!

If you enjoy Assassins Creed games they're great for Platinum but take a while, Spiderman was good too.

I always enjoy AC games but have never ever completed one lol.

I have most of Spiderman, a few left as well as a few DLC ones.

Rebought Black Flag and Unity just for the trophy as both mega cheap digital, unfortunately it looks like I will have to play a little co op to complete!

I finished Black Flag but found it hard to get into. I enjoyed Unity when they fixed it, thought it was very underrated. One I haven't played is Rogue which is supposed to be good. I might get it whilst it is on offer.

Even though Unity is older than Syndicates I think the graphics look awesome on my Pro.

I know nothing about Rogue, isn't it different to regular AC games?

It was released the same time as Unity for last gen. You play as a templer though. It should be on PS4, it's one XO and Switch.

I see it's been remastered for the PS4, but it is something I could consider when it gets mega cheap as it is £25 on digital and disc is a no go now, I got both Black Flag and Unity for just £14 in the digital sales.

I may have just missed the offer but I need to not get too carried away with digital purchases as it feels like I don't pay anything at the moment with such good deals.

On Xbox is it easy to use multiple stores at once on same console while buying the countries top cards easily like it is on PSN?
