Re: Dual Ethernet Nic
According to a little reading if you did want it PC side 2 nics and windows server is all you need. Looks like I was waffling on about a different technology

Re: Dual Ethernet Nic
I was under the understanding you need a Nic with dual ports not 2 separate.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dual-Port-G...s%2C123&sr=8-3 Something like this but i don't know if it supports what i require.... |
Re: Dual Ethernet Nic
According to Asrock my motherboard supports it on 2 separate nics
There is a lot of information on it on the web. Some conflicting info though so still none the wiser really So what do you intend to be copying over your network to need these speeds? you must be moving some massive files ---------- Post added at 00:11 ---------- Previous post was at 00:09 ---------- One part of the info I have found is that you need to be running server software. It is not cooked into standard windows for example ---------- Post added at 00:12 ---------- Previous post was at 00:11 ---------- http://woshub.com/configure-nic-teaming-windows/ |
Re: Dual Ethernet Nic
My onboard Nic is only a GBE can that be bonded with a 2.5GBE?
I know Corey and Georgie are in the same boat as I built their system. |
