Pretty sure he'd be in his mid twenties considering the actors ages were around 14 at the start of season 1.

Yep, the characters are at least in their early 20's now.

They are going to keep renewing until it becomes Supergeriatric.

The flying slows down, he can't always remember where the emergency is, and no-one wants to be stood below him.

Actually, ITV2/3 are the channel that airs it. So it may be best checking to see when it's on.
