BREAKING: Source close to Mike Ashley: "It is only right to let the fans know that there is no deal on the table or even under discussion with Amanda Staveley and PCP. Attempts to reach a deal have proved to be exhausting, frustrating and a complete waste of time.

Re: Season 2017/2018

It's a story spun from the Ashley camp it seems. Nothing has changed, there was never a deal for it to be off. PCP claim their initial bids stand and have had no rejection from anyone affiliated with Newcastle United. This is the first they've heard of any walking away claims.

One can only assume if its legitimate its an attempt to panic them into increasing and hurrying the bid.

However, a childish and amateur like stance like this may legitimately get PCP to pull the plug on the absolute idiot that is Mike Ashley. He'll be the one looking stupid if they do and he has 50,000 fans on his back again.

As expected, Staveley is bemused and I'd bet quite annoyed by this. If this was a gamble from fat Mike I'm guessing he's failed miserably. Expecting this story to blow up further in the morning and not in a good way for Newcastle fans.

Reports now that Staveley isn't walking away and the original sky report is cack basically.

Getting ridiculous now, fans deserve to know what's going on.

Oh dear, sources inside Liverpool have allegedly labelled Amanda Staveley a glorified tyre kicker :D alongside further leaks of her investors basically being left in the dark about what she's been doing over the past few months. It's starting to look like Newcastle United have actually dodged a massive bullet here with stories appearing about the people behind her investment and her actual plan being to own the club herself, something which just doesn't seem feasible.

It appears Mike Ashley might actually be right :erm:

Guess we'll head back to selling ourselves to the chinese then

Deal on. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/42741969

Emerging reports that Mike Ashley himself or an associate drunk called Sky the other night. If true that's absolutely dire and up there amongst the most unprofessional things he's done.

How on earth these two parties could possibly strike a deal is beyond me. But I can imagine she's absolutely dying to throw the £300m at him whilst telling him where to go.

Well John Moss is making up for it, Brighton should have had at least one pen so far.

Is goal difference worth just sitting back and watching Man City play by themselves?
