So... I guess you've never tried my concoction :) I'll have you know, young man, that it was MY chess pawns on the Smash aliens heads advert! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKt-KR1TsRg It was better than cold tinned beans and burned fish fingers I believe that student food has moved on since then :D And I'm a potato-ricer person now :D ---------- Post added at 17:04 ---------- Previous post was at 15:59 ---------- Quote:
I made an M&S recipe pea soup earlier with stuff from the garden and freezer, and I make bread in a machine... Yours sounds much nicer :tu: |
Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Today I was told I was a perfect match for somebody I've never met......
... only for my platelets though .;) Went for my regular platelet donation and was told that I was a match and the staff seemed quite excited about it. Apparently some people's antibodies fight and destroy donor platelets because they think they're invaders. On this occasion my platelets are destined for such an individual. I hope they help:) |

Your blood must be very special. If I may ask - what blood type are you? Are you a universal donor type? |

At 9am tomorrow I start a temporary assignmet (well Christmas at least) at the company that I was working at last Thurs/Fri. Wages not good (50% cut) but it's better than JSA.
