A CR2032 lithium coin battery to fix my main PC. It was forgetting the date and time and this morning forgot it's custom boot sequence in the CMOS. (The drives are not in a typical default configuration for historical upgrade reasons).

The old battery was down to 1.5v when I measured it outside. Curiously when running, the machine said it was 2.9V. Guess it's measuring the voltage on the CMOS rather than the real battery.

Lolgitech K800 keyboard as a replacement for a solar powered one which has a fault with one CTRL key. Replaced under warranty.

I've been using the K800 keyboard for about 4 months now and it is an excellent keyboard. Keeps a reasonable charge if you keep the backlight on low enough. Quite a replacement.

A new washing machine - the current one has conked out after 13 years, and the repairman who came out to assess it said it would cost nearly as much to repair as to buy a new one.

Costco online is our friend....

Agree with that. If they have what you want they're usually very good price wise and the service is always excellent.

A 4.5 kg frozen turkey (no giblets) from Iceland for £5.00. Got one for £10 last week and it was delicious so I didn't hesitate when they were further reduced to £5 today. It's gone in our freezer for now... :)

Couple of little gem lettuce and some broccoli. No Iceberg but the gems will do.
