Nothing yet, doesn't arrive until Friday! Hoping to use it to take long exposure shots of water, sunsets etc. Plus I'm keen to try this

as I don't particularly like people in architectural shots.

It actually wasn't too expensive over here, $48.

Very interesting. I never knew they went that dark. If possible when you've tested it out would it be possible (please) could you send or upload a couple of shots using it. (And your opinions on it). Thanks.

There are actually 3 higher than that, guess you'd use them for taking pictures of the sun or something!

Ford Escape Titanium 2.0L EcoBoost AWD. After Ford A plan (employees and certain relatives) discount, the US price in $ was numerically the same as the UK price in £ (marketed in Europe as the Kuga). There are downsides to the State system. In Michigan the cost of insuring this is £1,080 a year.

This is because State law insists on no fault auto insurance where your insurer pays for the damage to your vehicle no matter who caused the accident.

Of course, such high premiums are also caused by the cost of medical treatment and reinforced by the number of people driving without insurance because of the cost. :(

A Hoya 58mm ND8 and an NDX400 filter. If I just got the one I'll know I'll need the other instead, but with both at least I'll have the options and can combine them together.

The ND8 works great with the SB700 flash.

Though they probably won't get much use till late spring / summer.

This is actually an example of when I think insurance can be a double edged sword..

Unfortunately, I think it's a case of medical bills having gone up because of insurance (after all , the companies can afford a lot higher bills than individual consumers), then the insurers have to put up their prices to cover the increasing medical bills.

Another example. Vet's prices. Prices for treatments at all my local vets surgeries have gone through the roof since the large insurance companies started offering pet insurance.

I got 3 records today!

1) Kansas - Point of Know Return (1977) -- Doesnt sound too good. On the album it says "This album was aphex processed" -- I looked up "Aphex processing" and discovered what it is.... DOESNT MAKE IT SOUND BETTER IN MY OPINION!! (The cassette I have "The best of Kansas" sounds better!!)

I probably wont keep it...... (Its sad, people do stupid things to try and make stuff SOUND BETTER but in reality it makes it worse!!)

I hope they didnt mess up thier 1975 album like this (The one with "CARRY ON WAYWARD SON") Im still trying to find this one!!

2) Heart - Bebe Le Strange (1980)

3) Paul Simons Greatest Hits

I also got a 45!

Steely Dan - Only a fool/Reeling in the years (I have this song on my STEELY DAN 'GREATEST HITS' collection (2 record set))

First time I have heard ONLY A FOOL -- I like it!!

I can imagine, dialing long distance or even mobile numbers would drive me nuts. Used to be quicker 'tapping' them.

Though I couldn't live with redial now, trying to get through the to GP in the morning and you're hitting redial about 50 times to get through, just thinking about dialing that lot in..... No chance.

It's not as sharp as I'd hoped, but the lens is tiny. Sound quality is terrible, but I don't need sound.

Here's a clip from this morning with a daft cyclist who would have come a cropper if I had closed the gap he'd left.... I've reduced the quality a tad to make it small enough for posting.

I have it set to make a new movie every 15 minutes instead of looping and overwriting the previous movie. On 32Gb at highest definition that allows for about 20 clips.

Even on reduced quality I'm sure that would stand up in court. Looks really good Taf.
