Can you imagine someone defaming and blaming a whole community for the bad actions of a few?

Very much so. See Hamas/Gaza for details. It's exactly the same thing. The Tory party is/are ****; I'm a party member, ergo ....

And according to Jacob Rees-Mogg

Ah well. The Tory Party is, in my opinion, the **** party.

If I thought you were **** I'd tell you. Don't you worry about that

Yes, of course they'd all vote for the Conservatives if there was no Reform UK candidate! In his dreams!

He's a straw-clutching :dunce:

It's very difficult for a lot people come November, or whenever.

I cannot vote for Labour, I'd rather burn.

I can't currently vote Tory, they don't deserve it.

I don't want to vote Reform

Don't even mention LibDems.

I think it's very likely I won't vote this year.

And although turnouts in byelections are usually low, they were very low.

I think this general election will be the lowest turn out for a very long time.

Stand yourself, then you'll know who to vote for.

It was a disappointing g night for the Conservative party I must agree. ;)

Trouble is they've done do much damage to infrastructure of this country we'll never recover. Those who voted for them in the last 14 years must take some responsibility for that.

Oh don't be daft, it's always someone else's fault. Brown people in boats, the EU, Putin etc

Do those who voted Labour for the preceeding 14 years take some responsibility for the Gulf and Iraq wars, or the financial crisis of 2007/8 ?

Or those before that, for whatever crisis there was at the time, going back however long you want ?

Russ 17-02-2024 15:52

Re: The Chronicles of Rishi

Considering the financial crisis was a worldwide issue I don't think that can be pinned on Labour. Just a small point though.

And as much as they fudged a few things up between 1997 and 2010, the corruption and blatant BS of the Tories over 14 years (as well as the Brexit shitshow), surely trumps the lot

It would be helpful if we got MORE decent human beings putting themselves forward to be MPs.
