I like that they're making a case for going to the cinema and having these shared experiences too.

With more and more things going to streaming first as a result of the pandemic the future of cinema looks uncertain. Nolan has faced a lot of blowback for daring to suggest he thinks his films should go to the cinema first. So it's good to see Disney/Marvel throwing their weight behind the cinema. They're going to be vital in saving it.

Four releases just this year:

Black Widow - July 9th 2021

Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - September 3rd 2021

The Eternals - November 5th, 2021

Spider-Man: No Way Home - December 17th, 2021

Hopefully these do very, very well.

there are some films you just can't beat seeing on the big screen and Marvel films are some of them. It is worth going purely for the surround sound when it comes to Marvel films.

I hope they clear $1bn each. People are gagging for a Marvel fix, it feels like forever since Endgame and Spiderman.

Yup. We haven't had one since Boseman died either so be interesting to see if there is a tribute to him with the Marvel Logo as there was with Stan Lee.

Really looking forward to cinemas being back though. I hope they show a lot of the ones we've missed like Nomadland

That would be flipping fantastic, I hadn't thought of that. I would love to hear him say "Wakanda forever" again as well.

Well they did one for Black Panther, so they may put a tribute in future movies.
